Arne and Freek started working almost immediately for Belgian newspaper ‘De Morgen’ after graduating in 2005  and 2007 at the Luca school of arts in Ghent. From that moment on both graphic designers tried to have a clear view on how a modern newspaper should look visually. In the year 2014 they did a huge redesign in collaboration with Polish designer Jacek Utko (TED talks) and one year later De Morgen won The World’s Best-Designed Newspaper award and The European Newspaper award. After winning these awards,  Arne and Freek are now searching for new approaches to make a daily newspaper evolve in modern times.
